DESCRIPTION

North staffs and District was formed from the Vale of Trent section. Their rallying area is from the Walton roundabout on the A34 at Stone through to Smallwood that is just south of Sandbach and to Congleton between the A34 and A50. There are many places of interest that include the five towns of the Potteries, Tunstall, Burslem, Hanley, Stoke and Longton. There is the new Potteries centre at Hanley and many Museums and Factory shops. The world famous Alton Towers complex is just one of the many attractions of the area, others are Trentham Gardens, Chatterley Whitfield Mining Museum, the North Staffordshire Railway Centre at Cheddleton and the Foxfield Railway at Forsbrook. The Section emblem the squirrel was decided upon by the founder members of this Section, and the colours are black on green.
