Order process QuotationWhen we receive your design sketchs or plans, we will prepare a detailed specification and quotation for you. We may make some assumptions with regard to the specification but these will be clarified prior to any order you may place with us and at this stage the quotation will give you a fairly good idea of budget. We will also provide a drawing showing plans and elevations of your design. After you have had a chance to review the design and quotation we can go through it in greater detail and answer any questions you may have. We can explain the specification in greater detail and suggest additional features which may enhance the design or perhaps ways to reduce the cost a bit. Placing an order When we have received your deposit and signed contract we will produce full working drawings for you. Used in conjunction with the self build manual these will be easy to follow and will include detailed dimensions and a base plan for you or your builder to follow. We will also send you a detailed confirmation of all the specification choices you have made. Manufacture When you have signed and returned the working drawings we will confirm a week commencing date for delivery in writing to you. This is usually 4-6 weeks later. Delivery A couple of weeks before delivery we will contact you to arrange an exact day. In order to reduce costs we ask that someone is on hand to assist the driver in unloading. The day before delivery we will contact you again to inform you of an approximate time that the driver will be with you, if necessary he can contact you when he is 30 minutes from his destination. The driver can advise on the best storage area if appropriate and will stack the components logically in preparation for the installation, indentifying the items for you. If appropriate he will leave a tarpaulin to protect the timber from bad weather. Installation If you have any questions during installation please contact us no matter how trivial it may seem, it is always best to make sure. Completion When you have finished you installation please take some photographs and send them to us, we love to see finished projects and always appreciate feedback on our products and services. |
